About
Europe's largest bird cliff, 14 km long and up to 440m high, at the westernmost point of Iceland. The cliff-top viewpoint faces directly west over the open Atlantic with zero horizon obstruction. In mid-August, late-season puffins may still be present. The remoteness means zero light pollution if clouds clear. 2+ hour drive from Patreksfjörður on gravel roads.
