About
Black lava pebble beach on the western tip of Snæfellsnes, inside Snæfellsjökull National Park. A short walk from parking through lava formations to the dramatic beach. The shoreline runs east–west and the beach opens south to the Atlantic — well aligned with the eclipse sun's bearing in the west-southwest. Restrooms at parking.
